It was given the name Hollywood because of mixing the old name of Mumbai (Bombay) and Hollywood, the United States’ center of the movie industry. Indian movies, Bollywood, are a part of the Indian culture and also the rest of the Indian subcontinent, some parts of Africa, and Southeast Asia. Most Bollywood films are sometimes classified as musicals. Few of Bollywood movies are made without at least one song and dance number. Although most Bollywood films are depicted as musicals, it is very different from classic Hollywood musicals. Bollywood films contain more in the way of plot and action than those Hollywood musicals most people are used to.
